I am so mad right now. So I setup the whole FTP thing last night in order to get data from one computer to another. It was slow going, only around 13kbps per transfer with a max of 10 transfers, so a total of maybe 130kbps. And thats a bunch of fucking bullshit. Why the hell would I only be able to transfer at that speed??? What I should have done, is queue everything up last night, and allow it to finish while I slept. But I decided to be nice to the environment, and turn of my computers.  Big Mistake. Today, I can only get a max of 1.5 kbps for each of the 10 transfers…so 15kbps total. OMFG I want to break something right now. Graaaahhhhhh.
So I have about 80gb of data left to transfer, and I am wondering if it would be faster to pull the drives, take them to work, burn all the data to DVD’s, bring them home and transfer them that way. Â Or maybe I should look into some sort of IDE to USB connection…hmm.
Straight up, next level bullshit.
