You would think since I have moved every year for the past three years, that I wouldn”t have a lot of stuff.  But you”d be wrong…

So my landlord finally agreed to allow my roommate and I to stay an extra few days after our lease expires so we can move our shit out.

The whole story:
My lease is set to expire on May 15.  I have finals the 10th through the 14th.  As you can imagine, I don”t have a lot of time between exams and working to move.  Oh yeah, did I mention that I graduate on May 16th?  See a problem here?

For the past 3 weeks or so, I have been calling and talking with my landlord about have our lease extended so that I have time to move out, and so that I don”t have to live in a hotel for a few days.

Discusted with my landlord for not getting back to me (though not at all suprised), I decided to call around to some hotels to see if and how much a room would run.  Can you believe that on a weekend when about 6000 students are graduating, and their immediate and extended families are going to be in town, there isn”t a free room in a 40 mile radius?  Damn.

You would think since I have moved every year for the past three years, that I wouldn”t have a lot of stuff.  But you”d be wrong, I have a lot of shit, about 3 rooms worth.  Hopefully I can talk someone into letting me use their truck to move my furniture to storage until I can find time to take it to St. Louis.

In any case, I finally got word today from my landlord that she is going to let my roommate and I stay until the 21st of May.  Hurray!!
